Marrakech – Morocco stands out as a true strategic partner for Europe, said Friday in Marrakech, Ms. Mariya Gabriel, first vice-president of the European People’s Party (EPP).

In a press statement on the sidelines of the EPP Autumn Academy, initiated by the European People’s Party in partnership with the National Women’s Federation of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung , Ms. Gabriel underlined the importance of this partnership, highlighting key themes such as stability, security, energy and digital transition.

She also clarified that Morocco has valuable experience allowing it to share good practices that can inspire other countries, explaining that these exchanges are essential to strengthen resilience in the face of global challenges.

Ms. Gabriel also spoke of the importance of security and stability, stressing that the Kingdom plays a key role in this sense, thanks to its initiatives and proactive actions.

Ms. Gabriel, on the other hand, highlighted the mutual trust between the EPP and the National Rally of Independents party, noting that this friendship, built on common values ​​and a shared vision for the future, constitutes an asset valuable for both parties.

The former Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister also welcomed the sustained efforts made by Morocco under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in favor of progress and prosperity.

This Autumn Academy constitutes an ideal platform to strengthen cooperation between Morocco and Europe, she maintained, before concluding by expressing her conviction that by working together, the two parties can meet global challenges and build a better future for all.
