In wanting to diversify its programs, the L’Equipe channel finds itself having to make choices certain evenings. And that inevitably breeds discontent.
For several years, the L’Equipe channel has been striving to diversify its programs and enrich its schedule. Which is not always easy because you sometimes have to juggle or decide between several events to broadcast.
This is the case this weekend, where the L’Equipe channel is broadcasting the Italian Super Cup, which began Thursday evening with the first semi-final. The problem is that this comes into conflict with what turned out to be the soap opera of the holiday period on the airwaves of L’Equipe, the world darts championship, which has hosted several evenings on the channel since the mid-December.
Too many programs to broadcast for L’Equipe…
Thursday evening, the L’Equipe channel broadcast the darts semi-final between Luke Littler and Stephen Bunting on a delayed basis, a match broadcast live on the L’Equipe Live platform. On the L’Equipe channel, we had the Inter-Atalanta match at 9 p.m…. which was also broadcast delayed, because there was the special Dakar program at 8 p.m. Hell of a traffic jam!
Obviously, this makes people unhappy, because it is impossible to make choices that please all the spectators. And it will be the same this Friday. Live football at 8 p.m. (AC Milan-Juventus), and darts on the site (unencrypted), then delayed on the TNT channel.
