Arthur: “I finished the show in tears several times”
During this documentary, Arthur notably revealed who the famous banker of the game Take It or Leave It was. It was in fact Laurent Zeitoun, a member of the program’s production at the time. “I am the banker of the boxesTake it or leave it. Normally I don’t exist, this is the first time I’ve said it“, he declared on camera. Arthur also stressed that presenting Take It or Leave It was emotionally trying for him.
“I ended the show in tears several timeslots of times, because I had become attached to the candidates. (…) Because I had talked with them, had lunch in the canteen with them.
We spent time together, hours on set! (…) I can tell you that whoever exchanged a 500,000 euro box for a one euro box, I couldn’t sleep at night…”admitted the host in particular.
