After occupying the pop-up store, the three friends set up on rue Gaston Darley in Nemours (Seine-et-Marne). The pleasure of lovers of decoration, jewelry and clothing is there. Three distinct spaces, tastefully arrangedto take care of yourself and your interior. They bring together their respective worlds in this atypical premises, which extends to a courtyard with a view of the castle.

Bernie, a nurse for 35 years, decides to stop after the health crisis. “I have always been a manual worker, I have always loved jewelry and semi-precious stones. So I started creating jewelry in my workshop in Bourron-Marlotte.”

She then opens it to the public one day a week. This is how she meets Biliana, during a sale. The latter, passionate about flea markets, opened her garage to sell antique objects and furniture, alongside her job as a sales agent in the decoration industry.

This meeting will naturally lead to occupying the Nemours pop-up store: “We made several sales together in this store. We had a very warm welcome from the locals, and that’s where we met Valentina, a customer.”

Valentina started as a model, then working in different industries before becoming an electronic security engineer. She has always maintained a link with fashion: “I am passionate about fabrics, I always went to shows, Fashion Week etc. I decided to devote myself entirely to it. I want to help women take care of themselves.” His experience strengthens Bernie and Biliana's adventure.

The three of them therefore continue to explore this feminine universe. “During a crazy day at the pop-up store, we said to ourselves that it would be funny one day to have a real store, which we would call Drôles de Dames,” they specify. The available space reinforces their desire, despite the rubble and the work to be done. They believe in it and get started!

After six months of work, the doors are finally opening. You will find furniture and decoration found with love, with a wide selection. Clothing is expertly chosen, sourced from European brands at varying prices. To complete your look, a variety of French designer jewelry, ranging from fantasy to the most chic!

The store is off to a good start, with a successful inauguration. The Funny Ladies have lots of projects : temporary exhibitions by local artisans, clothing makeover and customization workshops, personal decoration advice, as well as the creation of jewelry… without forgetting to use the garden!

This store is filled with treasures. Be careful, you'll crack! Long live this concept store and the friendship of Les Drôles de Dames.
