Released in Denmark in 2013, this series is coming to France and there is no doubt that it will find its audience among crime fiction fans from the North! Series Say lands in full on Arte.tv from June 28. You will therefore be able to watch the three seasons for free streaming in which we follow the heroine who gives her name to the series returning to the town where she grew up, in a family of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Having just separated from her husband Torsten, Dicte Svendsen is hired as an investigative journalist for the local daily, where her presence will not go unnoticed. Editor-in-chief who lacks ambition, police procedures that drag, witnesses who are too silent… Dicte is a real hothead who seems to stop at nothing, despite repeated warnings from those close to him.

Over the course of the episodes, Dicte will sometimes flirt with dangerous environments. We find her at the beginning of the first season in the middle of an investigation into the passage of migrants and the trafficking of surrogate mothers. Some cases also echo her own life, which is why Dicte sometimes seems to invest body and soul in her work, ignoring the limits to have between professional and personal life. The series has three seasons of ten episodes, so if you start, you should be very busy in the coming weeks!

To embody this strong-willed woman, Dorte Warnoe Hogh and Ida Maria Rydén, the two women behind the series, chose Danish actress Iben Hjejle. Alongside him, we find several endearing supporting roles, some of which we have already seen in the series. The castle, like the actor Dar Salim who played the role of Amir Diwan, Lars Brygmann who lent his features to an important figure in the Danish Labor Party, or Soren Malling, the editor-in-chief of the television news, Torben.
