Is Jennifer being manipulated?
The police did not find any fingerprints other than those of Jennifer and Samuel in the apartment. Samuel informs Ariane that only he and the secretary knew of the hiding place of his service weapon.
Jennifer promises Samuel that she locked the door to her apartment. The policeman doesn’t believe her. Samuel shows her a receipt with the peanut butter, and the medical secretary no longer understands what is happening. Samuel thinks she is trying to drive him crazy. Jennifer leaves the apartment in tears.
Jennifer arrives 40 minutes late to the office, and Gabriel gives her a telling-off. He tells her that they can no longer trust her and advises her to pull herself together. He leaves and Pascal arrives. He tells her that he heard the whole conversation with Gabriel. Jennifer assures him that she doesn’t know what’s happening to her. She ends up apologizing for wrongly accusing him. Pascal assures her that he no longer holds it against her.
Jennifer is with Pascal on the beach and thanks him for being there for her. She doesn’t believe in burnout. Pascal advises her to dig into her past, but Jennifer refuses to broach the subject.
At the doctor’s office, Jennifer finds Samuel’s gun in his bag. When the police officer enters with Gabriel, Jennifer gets scared and points the service weapon at them. Samuel asks her to put the gun down.
Babeth annoyed by Patrick
Patrick begins to prepare for his funeral. Babeth makes fun of him, but Léa finds it normal to have this discussion.
Patrick continues to organize his funeral, and Babeth talks about it with Mehdi. The latter tells her that organizing his funeral could perhaps de-stress him. Mehdi is convinced that they will find a solution.
Babeth wants to go to a salsa restaurant and can no longer stand that Patrick has his own little habits and that he doesn’t let the unexpected interfere in his daily life.
Did Steve scam the Mistralians?
Steve is promoting his business to Ariane. Mirta comes in and tells him that his TV has broken down.
Steve looks at the promotions on the TVs she has. Steve completes the purchase of Mirta through his Bibac account, but the payment does not go through. Seeing that Mirta’s application is buggy, Ariane refuses to invest in the Bibac company.
Nisma finds Steve, who has packed his bags and is about to leave. She tries to stop him, but the young man seems in a hurry to leave. Nisma tells him that Mirta is looking for him everywhere.
Mirta tells Nisma that she and her daughter Luna can’t log into their Bibac account. Nisma tells her that she just saw Steve driving away. Mirta then thinks that Steve might have scammed them.
