“You denigrate me”, Jean-Nicolas loses his temper with Laurie after his remarks on his physique

Season 8 of Married at first sight ends very soon. M6 did not broadcast the last episode this Monday, June 17 and fans are therefore waiting for Monday, June 24 to finally know the outcomes of the different marriages. In fact, for several weeks we have been witnessing the assessments of the different candidates. So, we know that Tracy and Flo are still happily married at present. They even plan to move in together. As for Alice and Florian, the end of the adventure is also very beautiful. Despite the big argument they had at the end of their honeymoon, they are still together. However, Not all marriages have worked out as well as for these two couples.

In fact, Raphaël has decided to divorce Ludivine. A decision which caused suffering to the candidate who decided to win him back. We finally know if they got back together or not. Jérémy also divorced from Marie. It was during the assessment, in front of the experts that he announced the thing but he did not say it to Marie’s face. The latter also confided that she had cut ties with her ex-husband. Finally, the relationship between Jean-Nicolas and Laurie, the last couple of the adventure, is, she also particularly tense since their meeting. It didn’t get any better because during the assessment, they had a heated discussion.

We finally find Jean-Nicolas and Laurie who meet to take stock of their adventure. Unlike the other candidates, they are alone and not with the experts Gilbert Bou Jaoudé and Estelle Dossin. Thus, Laurie began to settle scores regarding the remarks on Jean-Nicolas’ physique and more particularly on the fact that his partner had to please his friends. She then stated: “For me it’s not mature”. But the young candidate quickly lost his temper against Laurie.

He then said: “I am someone who is quite calm, quite mature, I don’t necessarily appreciate the fact that you denigrate me by telling me that I’m not mature about it”. A remark that Laurie did not appreciate and she then explained: “It’s not that I’m denigrating you but we’re going to set things straight, you attacked me on my appearance, now I’ll explain my feelings to you”. But this did not convince the candidate who confided: “I preferred you to give your opinion about me rather than openly denigrate me by saying ‘you’re not mature’”. The two newlyweds therefore had difficulty understanding each other.

Did Jean-Nicolas and Laurie divorce in Married at First Sight?

After having each had their speaking time, still in the last episode of Married at First Sight, Jean-Nicolas and Laurie spoke about their marriage. Facing the camera, the candidate explained: “I told her my point of view, she told me hers and we agree that we will not agree. So we won’t both move forward.” Laurie, for her part, told Jean-Nicolas: “I think it’s clear between us. We’re not going to stay together. We need to divorce”to which the groom replied: “Yes, there are no surprises”before adding: “Divorce is going to be necessary.”

They then removed their wedding rings before placing them on the table. After this assessment, Laurie noted: “It’s a shame because we don’t have a good ending but in the meantime I know that Jean-Nicolas is not someone who corresponds to me (…) He remains a good person”. We therefore understand that if there could have been differences between the two candidates, they parted on good terms.
