Tomorrow Belongs to Us: Summary of the episode of June 22, 2024

Candice and Victorien put on a show at the straw hut

At the Spoon, Charles announces to Victor and Timothée that two former Star Academy candidates will be present this evening at the hut: Candice and Victorien. Victor is quite impressed and doesn’t understand how they were able to free up the day before for the next day. Charles admits to having approached them after signing the sale of the hut.

He then goes to the private beach. Slightly anxious, he checks with Rachel that everything is going perfectly. Rachel tries to reassure him by reminding him that this isn’t the first time she’s organized an event. She then points out that there is only one post on Instagram to announce the opening of the hut. The young woman believes that this is not enough. However, Charles doesn’t have time to take care of it. Rachel then offers to take care of it. Charles gives him access to the straw hut’s account. Rachel then takes a selfie with Damien’s brother and manages to make him smile. A bond is created between them.

A little later, Candice and Victorien arrive at the hut to rehearse. Victorien already knows the place and he is delighted to come back and sing there. Then, it’s Timothée’s turn to arrive on the scene. He meets Rachel.

At the start of the evening, customers flock to the hut: Victoire, Lisa, Aaron, Nordine, Chloé, Diego, Lizzie, Violette, Amel, Jack, Lilou, Paul and Maud are present. They warmly applaud Candice and Victorien. The two former students of the Star Academy perform “I’ll go to the end of my dreams” and achieve real success. Between two songs, Candice and Victorien take selfies. Meanwhile, Victor confirms to Charles that he has the position of manager.

What is Audrey hiding from the police?

Audrey was admitted to the hospital. William informs her that her head hematoma is diminishing, but he decides to keep her under observation until tonight, as she has been unconscious for some time. He explains to her that she will continue to have headaches and pain for a while and that it will fade over time. After William leaves, Audrey confides to Damien that she does not remember what happened. She sees herself arriving at the garage and then it’s a black hole. Audrey doesn’t know if she fell or if she was attacked. Damien thinks she had a bad fall and that her amnesia is due to the shock.

Not far from there, at the police station, Sara takes Bastien’s statement. The teenager explains that he called the firefighters when he found Audrey unconscious. But above all he is very worried, because he has not heard from his father since the day before. Sara suggests that he call his partner, but Bastien doesn’t know who she is.

Raphaëlle receives Rayane in her office and informs her that she worked to obtain community service for him. Furthermore, the prosecutor sent a favorable opinion to the judge, which should work in his favor. She then explains to him that if he behaves well, his conviction will be erased from his criminal record in five years. Rayane asks her why she is doing all this for him. The lawyer emphasizes that he is young and has his whole life ahead of him. Raphaëlle then encourages him to take control of himself and retake the baccalaureate exams in September. She even wrote a letter to the academy. Rayane promises to do her TIG and pass her baccalaureate. Raphaëlle asks him if Romy knows about it. Rayane explains that he is going to see her this weekend with his uncle to tell her everything in person. Raphaëlle finds her approach courageous.

At John Kovac’s garage, the scientific police make the first observations. Traces of blood are discovered at the place where Bastien found Audrey, but Damien detects a smell of bleach and spots other traces of blood a little further away. He deduces that Audrey would have arrived at the wrong time and would have become an embarrassing witness. The attacker therefore allegedly hit her, cleaned the blood on the floor and left with his first victim. Damien points out that Audrey had come to drop off her car, only she’s not there.

When she arrives at school, Rayane goes to see Jack and asks about Audrey. Rayane then confides to Jack that he had no intention of hurting him and that he would like to erase what he told her. Jack knows that Rayane had extenuating circumstances, but he makes her understand that he cannot forget the words he said. Rayane tells him that he wants to repair things and promises Jack that there will never be any more secrets between them. Without success.

At the police station, Damien and Georges take stock with Sara. She thinks that John is the first victim of Audrey’s attacker, which would explain why Bastien has not heard from him. But Georges points out that nothing confirms that they have a second victim and that the blood found could be that of John who was injured after attacking Audrey. Damien does not share his point of view.

Sara asks Roxane if she was able to identify John Kovac’s partner, but the only recurring number that emerges from John’s fadettes is that of Bastien. Roxane assumes that they probably communicated via encrypted messaging. Sara hypothesizes that this unknown woman is a client of John’s and asks Roxane to check.

At the Spoon, Violette has lunch with Damien and Philippine. She asks her brother if the police have any news of Bastien’s father, but they do not. Violette points out that John would never have left his son without news. Damien informs his sister that if they cannot find John, Bastien will have to be placed. Violette asks Philippine if they can accommodate her. Bastien has always been there for her and she can’t bring herself to abandon him. Philippine hesitates and promises his daughter that they will find a solution for him.

At the police station, the investigation takes a new turn. A client of John’s reports to Sara that she witnessed an argument between John and Audrey four days ago. But Georges finds no trace of a meeting with Audrey in John’s diary. Sara goes to the hospital to question Audrey. Damien accompanies him. Audrey explains to Sara that John was planning to sell Jordan a motorcycle and since she didn’t agree, she went to express her point of view to him. After the argument, she returned to the garage to explain her thoughts in more detail. Sara offers Audrey a ride home because she has to question Jordan. Once she arrives at the Roussels’ house, Sara asks Jordan if he spoke with John Kovac recently. Audrey gestures to her son to answer “yes”, which he does. Then, he confirms to Sara that John did indeed have a motorcycle to sell, but that the sale did not materialize. On the one hand, he didn’t have the money, and on top of that, Audrey was against the idea. After Sara leaves, Jordan points out to his mother that he just lied to the police for her, then he asks her what she did.
