“Fiasco”, season 1 (Netflix)
Behind the scenes of a catastrophic real-fake shoot. Co-created by Igor Gotesman and Pierre Niney, who shines there, this acid mockumentary puts French cinema in a can. The casting is top-notch and the humor is devastating.

“Attraction”, miniseries (TF1+)
What if Agathe’s husband wasn’t who she thought? Based on this already seen argument – perfect husband/toxic, dangerous and detestable character -, this series produced by RTBF does not sow doubt for long and yet makes the ordeal last… Meh.

“Murder at the foot of the volcano”, miniseries (Arte.tv)
A dejected banker, a gloomy cop, a novice investigator… These are the recipes for this Nordic series which is a bit humming. Less captivating than The Killing Or Bron, this Icelandic thriller is distinguished by the melancholy beauty of its settings.

“A Real Man”, season 1 (Netflix)
Real estate mogul Charlie Croker (Jeff Daniels) is on the verge of filing for bankruptcy. His opponents are ready to make short work of his business. But Charlie doesn’t let himself be walked on: he’s a man, a real one… Between the maxims of business schools and the characters of crooked bankers, this facsimile of Succession struggles to make the small world of New York entrepreneurship credible. The sluggish main story is fortunately eclipsed in favor of a political subplot, which sees a criminal lawyer (Aml Ameen) tasked with defending a black man after an altercation with a police officer. Warmer than our anti-hero, this repairer of injustices skillfully connects all the characters, and succeeds in convincing us that it is he, the “Man” of this mini-series. – Yohan Haddad
