Monique Olivier, ex-wife of Michel Fourniret, sentenced to life in three cases
Lydie Logé disappeared a few days before Christmas, on December 18, 1993, in her small village Orne, in Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet. Aged 29, she was returning from shopping with a friend, the last person to have seen her alive. Lydie Logé was the mother of a seven-year-old boy, looked after by his father on the day of the incident.
Despite searches, his body was never found. But in 2019, fingerprint analyzes made it possible to reopen the investigation: traces of Lydie Logé’s DNA were found in the van of serial killer Michel Fourniret.
Monique Olivier taken to Orne this Tuesday
Questioned several times about this kidnapping, the“Ogre of the Ardennes” had made partial confessions in 2019, before his death in 2021.
