This Monday, January 20, 2025, employees ofYcéo (bus transport serving the 10 municipalities of the Saint-Nazaire conurbation) are hard at work in the municipality of Saint-André-des-Eaux (-Atlantique). During the night of Saturday January 18 to Sunday January 19, 2025, four bus shelters, including two in rue de la Gare, were vandalized and two coaches schoolbelonging to a subcontractor, were stoned.


Open investigation

“As much as shelters are regularly vandalized in the city, attacking buses is something else,” breathes one of the mobilized employees.

“This is the first time this has happened. If we are requested, we will make available the recordings of the video protection cameras », assure Mathieu Coëntthe mayor of the town.

An investigation has been opened. For the moment, no author has been identified.

In addition to the bus shelters and coaches, the screen of the bakery's vending machine was also damaged, rendering the machine unusable.
