Latest Nintendo Switch 2 Retailer Leak Reveals Launch Titles and Prices

It’s no secret: Nintendo will replace the Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED with a second generation model before the end of March. Although Nintendo has yet to release further details, rumors point to a January announcement ahead of a full release in April. Given these timelines, it’s no surprise that retailers have started to receive information about what’s on the horizon.

This is how GameStop added microSD Express cards to its catalog, GameStop added microSD Express cards with transfer speed comparable to that of an SSD for the next Nintendo console. Today, an alleged employee or representative of French retailer Micromania gave new details about the so-called Switch 2. Micromania is said to have already prepared everything in-house, with prices ranging between €69 and €79 for more than 25 launch titles .

If these prices are accurate, Switch 2 games would cost around $10 more than current titles. Additionally, the retailer’s internal database was reportedly updated with references to a new Mario Kart and even to Super Mario Galaxy 3 rather than a new Super Mario Odyssey (currently $47.89 on Amazon). A similar price hike could be expected for the console itself, which is expected to launch for €399 in the Eurozone. Please note that these are only rumors at this time and great skepticism should be exercised until concrete evidence emerges.
