Kidnapping alert: the device triggered to find Mohammed, 5 years old, and Nassim, 3 years old, kidnapped in Fourmies, in the North

Triggered in the middle of the afternoon this Monday, the kidnapping alert concerning Mohammed and Nassim, 5 and 3 years old, was lifted during the evening. The two children were found safe and sound, while their father was arrested.
Two little boys for whom a kidnapping alert was triggered on Monday in the North were found safe and sound, AFP learned from a source close to the matter. Nassim, 3 years old, and Mohammed, 5 years old, were found by gendarmes “in the street” Monday evening near their father’s home in Beuvrages, near Valenciennes, according to this source.

They were taken from their mother in Fourmies around 1:10 p.m. and the suspect, their father, fled by car. The latter was arrested later in the evening “near his home” and not far from where his sons were found, AFP learned from reliable sources.
