Found on the street
Two little boys for whom a kidnapping alert had been triggered on Monday in the North were found safe and sound, their father, suspected of being the perpetrator of the kidnapping, was still wanted, AFP learned from a source close to the case.
Nassim, 3 years old, and Mohammed, 5 years old, were found by gendarmes “in the street” Monday evening near their father’s home in Beuvrages, near Valenciennes, according to this source. They were taken from their mother in Fourmies around 1:10 p.m. and the suspect fled by car.
-The father was finally arrested. “The suspect could be the father, a North African man measuring 1m65, brown eyes, short black hair, growing beard, aged 38, wearing a navy blue down jacket, black pants and black sneakers, ‘a gray neck warmer’, warned the authorities early in the afternoon.
Kidnapping alert
The children disappeared around 1:10 p.m. in Fourmies, in the Nord department. According to our colleagues at TF1 Info, they were with their mother on the public highway when they were kidnapped.
“Mohamed is 110 cm tall, is dressed in a black and white coat, a black hat, black jeans and black sneakers. Nassim is 70 cm tall, is dressed in gray jeans, a brown coat , a beige hat with “teddy” ears and black sneakers”, described the General Directorate of the National Gendarmerie, investigating information to find the two little boys as quickly as possible.
