The romantic drama tells the story of Shauna Loszinskywidow, mother and grandmother, who, at the age of 70, decided to put her love life aside. One day, however, she surprises herself by being disturbed by the presence of Pierre Escandea 45-year-old man whom she had just met fifteen years previously. “I wanted to work with Agneswith whom I had started to think about a screenplay, when she suggested that I read the project that she had undertaken to write with Solveig : he told the love story that the mother of Solveig had lived late in life with a doctor much younger than her. This story had shocked Solveigto the point that it was unimaginable for him not to make a film about it”remembers the director.
“Two days before his death, Solveig asked to Agnes to make him the promise that this project will see the light of day, and that it will be carried out by a woman”continues Carine Tardieu.
