The episode of precipitation that began this weekend is dragging on. This Tuesday, the south of the country is still placed on yellow alert, until 4 p.m. On the flooding.lu site, it is indicated that the only risk of flooding still concerns the Moselle, on which exceeding the “yellow vigilance rating” cannot be excluded.
On other rivers such as the Alzette or the Sûre, the situation is returning to normal.
As a reminder, the flood forecast service entered orange alert level early Sunday afternoon. Local flooding which could lead to flooding and damage was feared. The Luxembourg authorities therefore invited the population to be vigilant.
