Garmin has started releasing the beta version 13.14 update for the Fenix 8, Fenix 8 Solarfenix E and Enduro 3 ($851.41 at Amazon). This update comes just days after the latest release, beta 13.13 which brought several new keyboard features to smartwatches.
With this latest beta update, the Fenix 8 and related smartwatches are gaining additional icons for Strength equipment. Unfortunately, the changelog does not provide additional details. Garmin also says it has improved the layout of the “Sensor Connected” banner. In addition to these changes, a dozen bug fixes have been made. These relate to issues with the Breathwork activity, loading banner, and Meditation activity. You can view the changelog below.
Interestingly, in the Garmin forum post for beta 13.14, there is a message about new predictive text support, which arrived in 13.13. A team member informs users that in order to use this tool, they must ensure that the associated file, a secondary download, is installed.
