The first major awards ceremony of the year, the “82nd Golden Globe Awards” celebrated the best in cinema and television on Sunday evening. If you missed the ceremony, here’s everything you need to know about how and where to watch it.

Where can I watch the 2025 Golden Globes?

The ceremony, often called “the Hollywood party of the year”, was broadcast live on Paramount+ in the United States and was available on demand for Showtime subscribers. Paramount+ Essential members will be able to stream the show starting Monday.

Who were the winners of the 2025 Golden Globes?

Adrien Brody won his first Golden Globe for his starring role in “The Brutalist,” which also won best motion picture, drama. Brady Corbet, who co-wrote and directed the film, was named best director, cementing the film’s dominance after entering the night with seven nominations.

On the musical or comedy side, “Emilia Pérez” by Jacques Audiard emerged as another big winner. The film topped all competitors with 10 nominations and was named Best Musical or Comedy Film. Zoe Saldaña won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy and the film also won Best Original Song, adding to her tally. Audiard was recognized with nominations for directing, screenwriting and songwriting.

The thriller “Conclave,” which looks at the secret election of a new pope, won best screenplay after receiving six nominations.

On television, “The Bear” continued to be a critics’ favorite. While it topped all shows with five nominations, its star Jeremy Allen White took home the night’s only trophy for Best Actor in a Show.

Who hosted the Golden Globes?

Comedian Nikki Glaser made history as the first woman to solo host the Golden Globe Awards. Glaser, who was announced as host in August, landed the role after her stellar performance in Comedy Central’s “The Roast of Tom Brady.”
