It is eagerly awaited. All the blue of the skythe soap opera inspired by the eponymous best-seller by Mélissa Da Costa and whose plot takes place in the Pyrénées-Orientales, will be broadcast Monday January 27, 2025 on TF1. Filming mainly took place in the department.
It is inspired by a bestselling novel
As in the novel which sold more than a million copies, the story of All the blue of the sky takes place largely in the Catalan country. And in particular to Eusone of the most beautiful villages in France.
As we announced to you on News Perpignan, Camille Lou (The Fighters, Anthracite, Cat’s Eyes…) et Hugo Becker (Win or Die, So far, so good, Gossip Girl…) will respond. The two actors will play the characters of Joanne and Emile.
The series filmed in Eus and Les Angles
The TV film will be divided into two episodes, broadcast on the same evening. Here is the synopsis:
Emile (Hugo Becker, editor’s note) has just learned that he has early-onset Alzheimer’s and that he only has a few months left to live. Because he wants to escape the hospital, the gaze of his family and his friends, he decides to go on the roads in an old camper van with Joanne (Camille Lou, editor’s note), this girl who responded to his little announcement. She finds there an unexpected opportunity to escape a life that had become unbearable for her. Improvised destination: the Pyrenees. Their journey, incredibly beautiful, will shatter their certainties and give rise to feelings they never thought they would feel again…
Most of the sequences were filmed in the Pyrénées-Orientales. “Rediscover the unique atmosphere of our landscapes and the authenticity of our heritage through this captivating film which highlights our region with poetry and emotion,” says the Conflent Canigó tourist office. In addition to the village of Eus, we know that scenes took place in Angles.
Several films and series produced in 2024 in the department should be released this year. This is particularly the case of the series The Missing from the Station. It will be revealed in the coming months on Disney+. Hugo Becker also plays one of the main roles.
