The second quarter-final of the Saudi Kings Cup on Tuesday saw the summit clash between Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad end with the second place qualifying after the penalty shootout (2-2, 3- 1), in the presence of more than 25,000 spectators.
It was the French Karim Benzema who opened the scoring after the hour mark (63′ – video), mais Al Dawsari (71′ – video) quickly equalized to send everyone into overtime.
Marcos Leonardo gave Al-Hilal the lead in the 101st minute (see video) while Benzema was still decisive and author of a double 5 minutes from the end (2-2 / video).
The decision was then made on penalties and it was the Al-Ittihad players who showed themselves the most skilful by winning 3-1 (video ici).
