Cross-country skiing: time for the epilogue of the Tour de Ski 2024/2025
After six competitions in nine days, the nineteenth edition of the Tour de Ski comes to an end this Sunday on the terrible and formidable slopes of theAlpe Cermis (Italy), famous rise of the cross-country skiing world cup. An expected but also feared step since the gaps in the general classification can quickly falter.
And it is the men who will open the ball from 2:45 p.m. Wearing the leader’s bib and more than ever launched towards his fourth coronation in the competition, Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo will be placed at the front of this mass-start performed in skating while the two French Hugo Lapalus and Mathis Desloges will wear the 3 and 10. The two compatriots will have a nice card to play this Sunday afternoon to aim for a nice performance at the finish.
In the women’s category, after recovering the general’s lead the day before, Therese Johaug will therefore launch hostilities with the 1 to try to offer itself, too, a fourth Tour de Ski in career. Knows main rival, Astrid Oeyre Slindinherits bib 3 and will have a lot to do to try to reverse the trend against her compatriot who has already won eight times this final climb.
