David Bert, his predecessor, announced it in November: “After seven years, this is my last general meeting as president. I decided to hand over. However, I remain in the association. » Subsequently, it was Mathilde Fauvre, 24, who was elected to succeed him. At his side, there will be two vice-presidents: Anthony Jacob and David Bert. Mathieu Colin will provide secretarial services while Céline Fargeot will manage the finance part.
“My grandfathers, my mother and my father are part of the harmony”
Mathilde Fauvre therefore agreed to take over as president of the Harmonie de Branges. “In my family, we are all musicians… My grandfathers, my mother and my father are part of the harmony. I started here at five years old, first at music school and for 10 years in the harmony group. I play the transverse flute under the direction of Florian Vadot. »
The new president wishes to continue the main actions carried out by her predecessor and her team. She explains: “We are going to continue the events which are going well: the lottery on February 9 then on March 2 with the traditional spring concert. » And of course she invites everyone who wishes to join the 54 musicians of the harmony and the twenty students of the music school.
