After a well-deserved period of rest, educators and players from the tennis club and school quietly returned to action on Friday. Before getting the year 2025 off to a flying start, the club’s leaders invited all its young members for a fun and sporting afternoon at the Lioujas gymnasium. Around forty young players from the club, accompanied by their parents and some brave adult members, were able to happily indulge in various activities (mini-tennis, ping-pong and wooden games).
The club thanks its table tennis friends for the loan of tables and Gilbert Douls for the loan of wooden games. The day ended around 5 p.m. with a good snack and a galette des Rois, accompanied by some small gifts with the image arriving a little late from the North Pole.
Classes resumed on January 6 with preparation and gentle re-athletics before tackling the regional team competitions for seniors from March and for several months. Furthermore, the next belote competition organized by the club is scheduled for Tuesday January 28 at 9 p.m.
