This Saturday, January 4, 2025, two people, aged 29 and 16, were shot and injured in Grenoble and Échirolles.
This is a new episode of violence which took place in Grenoble (Isère). Two people were shot, just a few hours apart. The victims are: a 16-year-old girl and an older 29-year-old man, according to France Blue.
Affected in the finger and thigh
The man who was the first victim was hit in the finger when he was at a tram stop in the city. He quickly called for help. The events took place around 8 p.m.
Three hours later, the young girl was in turn injured in Échirolles, this time in the thigh when she was walking her dog, shortly before midnight. According to the latter, the ball “wasn’t meant for him.”
According to the investigation, no link between these two events has yet been put forward.
Events that follow one another
A boy was shot in the head on October 22, and another was injured in the leg in the city center of Grenoble.
Another, larger shooting took place near a deal point in the Hoche district. The fatally injured victim was placed in detention on September 6 for narcotics, concealment of property from the unauthorized transfer of narcotics, and refusal to hand over the decryption key for a means of cryptology.
