Police sources told the tabloid that an assistant discovered the director’s lifeless body on the morning of Friday, January 3. He was declared dead on the spot by emergency services. The police then told the site TMZ that the American filmmaker would have committed suicide. Jeff Baena leaves behind his mother Barbara Stern, his father Scott Baena, his brother Brad Baena, his half-sister Bianca Gabay, his half-brother Jed Fluxman and his wife Aubrey Plaza.
