In the episode ofHere it all begins from Monday January 6… To enjoy every moment of life, which can change overnight, Solal suggests that Zoé go to the cinema. Maya taunts him nicely: “Lucky, a movie! But you’re crazy Solal, a loser!” Understanding the mockery, he will think with Zoé about something less conventional. When everyone arrives with a proposal, Maya offers to decide between them by drawing lots. A night in Solal's father's villa or a night in a tent… Maya forces fate a little and sends her friends to spend a night under the stars.
Here it all begins in advance: Joaquim attacks Clotilde
At the Institute, everyone is still in shock from Marta's sudden death. Joaquim directs his anger towards Clotilde. “It was to spend time with you that I was not with my sister. As usual, I adapt to you. And this is what it cost me”, he tells his wife before leaving. Chef Armand blames herself and feels guilty in turn.
As for the students, Lionel would have liked to go to Marta's funeral but he didn't feel justified. A feeling shared by Anaïs. Hortense then suggests organizing “a ceremony for people from the Institute who didn't feel like going to the funeral“. She takes it upon herself to see this with Teyssier while the others reflect on their memories shared with Marta.
Here it all begins in advance: Marta sends a last message to Anaïs
Before accepting, Teyssier asks for authorization to organize a small ceremony in tribute for Marta to Joachim, surprised that his sister has friends at the Institute. If he doesn't see any problem with it, he doesn't know if he will go there. Teyssier is then joined by Constance who seems to want to confess something to him. Unlucky, Emmanuel has other, more urgent things to deal with and doesn't pay attention to him.
Hortense has decided that the little words from her comrades will be attached to balloons which they will let fly away. Anaïs cannot write her message: “Given our past […] I don't think she really wants me to take part in her tribute.” Mehdi and her friends manage to remind her of a good memory of the time when they shared the same room. Lionel remembers the time when Marta beat him in arm wrestling. Against all expectations, Hortense does not want to write anything out of loyalty to Célia, to whom Marta has done a lot of harm.
During the ceremony, Enzo speaks to talk about his first memory with Marta which dates back to their entrance exam to the Institute. He is followed by Teyssier, who says a few words and then it's time to release the balloons. Barely taken off, Anaïs's explodes and her little note lands at her feet. “She holds a grudge, Marta!” jokes Lionel.
Here it all begins in advance: Gaspard accuses Marta's ghost of all the ills of the Institute
The atmosphere is still very tense between Léo and Gaspard. He is not responsible for Léo's things which disappear and puts it down… to the ghost of Marta, whose room they are perhaps occupying… During chef Guinot's class, the students talk about the incident of Anaïs' balloon which exploded. Gaspard puts it back on the back of “ghost of the dead”. A joke that obviously doesn't go down well with the other students.
Here it all begins in advance: Joaquim accuses Constance of Marta's death
In the Institute parking lot, Joaquim rushes towards Constance. He gets pretty upset after finding a prescription for Marta from the nurse. She saw it when she was in Paris with Charlène. Marta complained “headache and slight dizziness”. “And vision problems”, underlines Joaquim. Constance advised Marta to go see her doctor. Except she never did it, Joaquim gets carried away. These symptoms “were the warning signs of his ruptured aneurysm”, he said to her, beside himself, brandishing the prescription. Constance tries to justify herself, and admits to having thought of overwork because at her age “It’s really very, very unlikely a ruptured aneurysm.” He criticizes her for not having heard from her sister or even talking to her about it. Constance then highlights medical confidentiality and admits that she thought it was not serious. “If you had done your damn job properly, and if you had cared at least a little bit about my sister, maybe we could have saved her life. It's your fault she died!”
