Météo-France placed three departments on yellow alert for risks of rain and flooding on Saturday January 4. The south of Brittany will be particularly affected by an episode of heavy rain.
The weather will be very rainy this Saturday January 4 in the south of Brittany. So much so that the departments of Finistère (29), Morbihan (56) and Loire-Atlantique (44) are placed on yellow alert for rain and flooding, from 6 p.m.
This disturbance from the west will gain ground, accompanied by winds and snowfall forecast for the north of the Alps but also for the Jura.
Risk of freezing rain
Throughout France, the rains will continue to circulate towards the Pyrenees but also over the Corsican terrain. Over the rest of the territory, the sun will be veiled by clouds. Temperatures will be low in the morning, accompanied by very severe frosts at times. On a large northern half, you will have to scrape the windshield. In the afternoon, over a large northern half, temperatures will be slightly above 0°C and will reach 12°C, however in Bordeaux.
If an episode of freezing rain were confirmed, a worsening of the level of vigilance would be possible, in particular in Île-de-France and the departments north of the Seine, Météo-France indicated.
