Featuring is a somewhat particular exercise, especially in rap. Because what should basically be a collaboration with the aim ofunify two artistic universes to offer a new onedifferent and unique, can quickly become a competition to see “who ate who”. This kind of competition that we particularly appreciate in hip hop culture, and in this game, especially in France, certain artists are impregnable: Niro, Sofiane, Lino, and many others. But it’s been a long time since we last saw three featuring monsters announce a collaboration together: Werenoi, Ninho and Damso have in fact started to communicate about their future collaboration.
A banger, obviously?
It is therefore not every day that we have the right to a featuring between three big rap monsters FRwhich are almost each in their own way “tauliers” featuring, especially for Ninho and Damso which we have seen a lot in this exercise over the last ten years. So obviously, the announcement of a collab between Werenoi, Ninho et Damso hype us up a little. A track which will apparently be released on Werenoi’s next album.
Especially since in addition to being bosses in feat, the three rappers are also bosses of the charts, or were at one point in their career. Werenoi is clearly one of the men of the year 2023/2024, Ninho is one of the most certified artists in France and Damso has nothing left to prove at this level. We could therefore be dealing with a real, very commercial banger, but we hope that the song will not be too “melody” oriented and that we will see the three rappers kicking.
