With ten nominations, Jacques Audiard’s film is the big favorite of the 82nd Golden Globes ceremony which will be held this Sunday, January 5 in Los Angeles. Already awarded at Cannes (Jury Prize and triple Best Actress Prize), Emilia Perez therefore leaves strongly in the best comedy or musical film category. Holiday commercial cardboard, Wicked and his four nominations could also steal the show from Emilia Perez. Cynthia Erivo, who plays the witch from The Wizard of Oz opposite singer Ariana Grande in this adaptation of a Broadway musical, could eclipse transgender actress Karla Sofía Gascón.
