2025 marks the entry into force of new rules – AEFinfo

In accordance with the climate and resilience law, new low-emission zones are emerging at the start of 2025. This system is in fact now compulsory for all urban areas with more than 150,000 inhabitants, with the sole instruction to define a perimeter within which Unclassified vehicles (the most polluting) are prohibited. Some more proactive communities have decided to go further than this simple rule, while the metropolises of Greater Paris and Lyon, constrained by law, prohibit the Crit'air 3, but with numerous relaxations involved.
