If the Renault engine in is preparing to bow out at the end of the 2025 season, the discipline in is still just as popular. The 2025 edition of Rétromobile devotes a 600 m2 exhibition to this presence for 60 years. 16 cars will be on display. Notably the Beneton-Renault with which Michael Schumacher was crowned world champion in 1995 or the Williams Renault of Jacques Villeneuve in 1997. Prost GPs, Jordans powered by Peugeot and even Matras or Ligiers will also be present.

The Adolphe Kégresse exhibition

This inventor is little known to the general public, yet he has more than 200 patents to his credit. Particularly that of the half-track. A technology that allowed vehicles to move more easily in the snow but also in the desert. He was responsible for the imperial garages of Tsar Nicholas II before returning to France and joining forces with André Citroën.

This gentleman is little known to the general public. However, he was the first non-Japanese to become president of Yamaha Motors in Europe and then to join the manufacturer’s management committee. Many motorcycles will be on display: BMWs, Yamahas, Peugeots, Kawasakis.

The manufacturers present

At the moment the list is restricted. Announcements will be made gradually during the month of January. We already know that Mazda will be present as will Citroën and Porsche.

The MX-5 in the spotlight at Mazda

Mazda will celebrate the 35th anniversary of its roadster at the show by exhibiting 5 different models from 1995 to the present day. The Japanese manufacturer’s stand will take up residence in Hall 1.

Who says Retromobile, also says auctions. In addition to that of Artcurial directly within the exhibition center, RM Sotheny’s and Bonham will also offer their sale. It will be in the Salles du Carrousel for the first, on February 4 and 5, and at the Grand Palais for the second on Thursday, February 6.
