(CercleFinance.com) – Swisscom has successfully completed the acquisition of Vodafone Italia after obtaining all regulatory approvals.
The group has obtained the green light from the Italian competition authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato) as well as the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (MIMIT) for the acquisition of Vodafone Italia.

Due to the early closing, Swisscom is revising its EBITDA forecast for 2024.
Costs of a maximum amount of 200 million euros will be recognized in Swisscom's 2024 accounts. These costs relate to the planned exit from existing mobile network sharing and MVNO agreements as part of the migration of Fastweb's mobile customers to Vodafone Italia's network and are part of the integration costs.
The revised EBITDA forecast for 2024 therefore amounts to CHF 4.3-4.4 billion (so far CHF 4.5-4.6 billion), with no impact on free cash flow in 2024 2024 forecasts for revenue, capital expenditure and dividend remain unchanged.
