An armed man killed “several people” this Wednesday by opening fire in a restaurant in a town in southern Montenegro, near the town of Cetinje, public broadcaster (RTCG) reported, citing a police statement. .

“In the afternoon, in a restaurant in Bajice, AM, 45, killed several people using firearms. The man, armed, exited the building and fled,” police added.
At least ten people, including two minors, died during this shooting, Interior Minister Danilo Saranovic announced this Wednesday evening.
Referring to a “private” event, the minister declared to the press that the suspect had “taken the lives of at least ten people, including two minors from the Vuletic family”, which owns the restaurant in which the shooting took place.
The suspect died on Wednesday, police said. Police surrounded the fleeing shooter and when they ordered him “to put down his gun, he shot himself in the head,” police chief Lazar Scepanovic told reporters. “We tried to transport him to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries,” he said.
