Clouds are abundant over a large northwest quarter with oceanic mildness, but it is not raining. Elsewhere it is still cold in the northeast with frost and sometimes freezing fog. In the Mediterranean, you are entitled to some mild clearings.
Temperatures are between -3°C in Besançon, Clermont-Ferrand and 12°C in Brest.
This afternoon
The rain arrives across the Channel in a gloomy but gentle atmosphere, while the sun shines from the southwest to the eastern flank. Mildness invades the entire territory with temperatures 3 to 5°C above seasonal norms. Some clouds concern the Mediterranean rim. The wind continues to blow strongly in the Channel, particularly in the far north.
Temperatures are between 4°C in Charleville-Mézières and 16°C in Biarritz in a spring atmosphere.

Soirée
The cold front is asserting itself in the northwest with active rains and a very gloomy atmosphere. The weather remains calm elsewhere, without frost thanks to the ocean wind.
Further development
The weather will be disrupted on Thursday with rain over a large part of the territory. Behind, the cold will invade the north with snow at low altitude in the northeast, notably the Vosges.
