Initially banned, comedian Dieudonné’s new show was finally authorized by the Paris administrative court. This show, “Friday the 13th”, refers to the 2015 attacks and was reportedly inspired by exchanges with Salah Abdeslam.
The Paris administrative court authorized Friday the holding of the new show by the controversial comedian Dieudonné, scheduled until January 15 and entitled “Friday the 13th“, in reference to the 2015 attacks, initially banned by the police headquarters.
“The reality and seriousness of the risks of material disturbance to public order have not been established“, estimated the summary judge who suspended the ban order, in an order.
Ce “new and last show“, as the comedian presents it on his official website, is scheduled from Friday until January 15, aboard a bus called “Dieudobus” parked at Porte d’Issy, in Paris.
But the Paris police headquarters had banned the performances, by a decree dated December 31. “In the particularly tense national and international context and taking into account the sensitivity of the theme of the show which deals with the attacks of November 13, 2015, the performances of the show ‘Friday the 13th’ could be likely to cause serious disturbances to public order“, wrote the police prefect Laurent Nunez in particular.
For this show, Dieudonné claims to have drawn his inspiration from discussions with Salah Abdeslam, sentenced to irreducible life imprisonment for his participation in the attacks of November 13, 2015 in the capital and at the Stade de France.
“The show takes place inside a bus in the presence of 73 spectators” et “the police chief states at the hearing that he has no particular knowledge of the risk of clashes on the occasion or the outcome of the shows“, indicated the judge of the summary proceedings, seized via an emergency procedure.
“Reserve your places, I arrive everywhere in France. They won’t stop us from laughing at their mediocrity“, reacted Dieudonné on X, greeting a “victoire“.
Dieudonné M’Bala M’Bala has been convicted on multiple occasions by the courts, notably for racial insults and inciting hatred. He also ran in the last European and legislative elections, without success.
