A conflict between neighbors got out of hand on December 23 in a small hamlet. One of the neighbors pulled out a gun and shot a man who is still in serious condition.

An attempted murder
What happened in this cul-de-sac where three homes are located? The mystery remains complete and communication restricted. However, one thing is certain, on the eve of Christmas Eve, neighbors used strong tactics to settle their scores and an investigation was opened to determine the causes.
Injured by firearm
Shortly before 10 p.m., Monday December 23, the firefighters of Rozoy-sur-Serre were called to go to the hamlet Tran, located at the exit of the village towards Brunehamel. The reason for their intervention: “injured following a fight at home”.
On site, firefighters took care of a 44-year-old man injured by a gun in the shoulder. Joined by a Samu team, the forty-year-old was transported in serious condition to Reims hospital.
The gendarmes of the Vervins brigade have opened an investigation to understand the origin of the facts which resulted in a 22 long rifle being fired. The shooter, aged 69, refused transport to hospital.
Two days after the events, no information filtered through the Laon public prosecutor's office, but seals were placed on the fence of the house where the events took place and where we can read “Attempted murder”…
