In live this evening from 8.45pm on Canale 5, New Year’s Eve in music, the traditional concert to celebrate the arrival of 2025 broadcast by the Mediaset channel. Landlady Federica Panicucci together with Fabio Rovazzi and, as usual, a large parterre of singers who will take the stage at Cathedral Square in Catania to sing their greatest hits. The event is also broadcast in simulcast on the frequencies of Radio 105, R101, Radio Monte Carlo and Radio Subasio.

Live from Piazza del Duomo in Catania, New Year’s Eve in music is iCanale 5’s usual appointment to celebrate the new year with an evening full of guests, fun and songs. The veteran was at the helm of the evening Federica Panicucci – former presenter of Christmas concert last week – and the singer Fabio Rovazzi. Many singers are scheduled in the lineup, from the most popular young artists of the moment to popular names of Italian music.
In fact, they will be on the stage in Catania Paola & Chiara, protagonists of a true musical rebirth in recent yearsinaugurated with the return to competition in Sanremo in 2023 with Furore. For a few months, the Iezzi sisters have been publishing a new single with BigMama from the title Body languageo. Another long-awaited protagonist is the eternal Orietta Berti, working in recent weeks on a new album of unreleased songs with which he will celebrate his 60-year career.

Gigi D’Alessio, LDA, Marco Masini and Mietta among tonight’s guests
On stage New Year’s Eve in music 2025 Gigi D’Alessio is also expected, fresh from the excellent ratings of The Voice Kidsa Rai 1 broadcast which for years has seen him as a judge together with Loredana Bertè, Arisa and Clementino. The Neapolitan singer will share the stage with his rapper son Luca alias LDA and, a few days ago, Gigi told in an interview with Corriere della Sera to be survived the tragic tsunami in the Maldives in 2004 right together with his son Luca.
Another prestigious guest is the Tuscan singer-songwriter Marco Masini which launched on the market a few weeks ago 10 loveshis new recording project seven years after the last studio album. A record strongly desired by Masini also for celebrate 60 years which he completed last September 18th.
Also present on the Catania stage was Riccardo Fogli, a historic former member of Pooh which, together with his old adventure companions, he is preparing a reunion of the band to celebrate 60 years since its formation. Among the new faces who will perform in Catania Alberto Urso, young tenor winner of Amici in 2019 and today very famous abroad too. As for the female team, Mietta will arrive, protagonist (as coach) of the latest edition of Io Canto Generation together with Lola Ponce and Anna Tatangelo.

Also the legendary Ivan Spagna will take the stage set up in Catania to perform a medley of his greatest hits. Just turned 70the singer of People like us has recently published a new single with DJ and producer Nuzzle from the title I love you I love you.
Gremlos, on the other hand, has recently returned from talent Sanremo Giovani 2024 where, however, she was eliminated during the semi-final. Italian-Moroccan rapper and influencer born in 2001Greta Jasmin El Moktadi (her real name) has released some hit singles such as Fux e Illegal.
To further embellish the rich cast of New Year’s Eve in music 2025 the singer Rikia young artist who exploded in 2017 thanks to his victory in the talent competition Amici That returns to the scene after a dark period of depression. Today Riki is ready to win back his audience with a new musical project, coming out in the next few months, from the title Casabase.
