This Friday, the organizers of Paris-Nice (Amaury Sport Organisation) have awarded their invitations for the ProTeam teams. Three teams have already been invited: the formation of Jean-René Bernaudeau, TotalEnergiesthe Swiss team led by Fabian Cancellara, Tudor Pro Cycling Teamas well as the Norwegian training Uno-X Mobility. To everyone's surprise, two major teams declined their invitations: Lotto Cycling Team et Israel Premier-Tech. The final invitation will be revealed soon.

The Paris-Nice 2025 teams
In addition to the big start in the Yvelines department, the route of this 2025 edition will notably feature a team time trial in Nièvre, as well as an arrival at the Loge des Gardes in the middle of the week. The battle for the general classification will take place during the final weekend, during a mountain stage towards the Auron resort, which was to host Paris-Nice in 2024 (cancelled due to weather conditions), then around Nice during the 8th and final stage, on March 16.
In addition to the three invited ProTeam teams, the 18 World Tour teams will obviously be present, including 4 French teams: Arkéa-B&B Hotels, You trust, Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale et Groupama-FDJ. Automatically selected thanks to their UCI ranking at the end of the 2024 season, the teams Israel Premier Tech et Lotto Cycling Team declined the invitation, leaving room for other ProTeam teams like Team TotalEnergies, Tudor Pro Cycling Team et Uno-X Mobility. The opportunity, why not, to see in addition to Jonas Vingegaard (already announced by Christian Prudhomme), the double French world champion, Julian Alaphilippedeparting from Paris-Niceat Perray-en-Yvelines, on March 9.
