His achievement goes hand in hand with the collection of 65,000 euros for “BIG against breast cancer” and breast cancer research.

“Every marathon was a new challenge”

“Each marathon was a new challenge, but realizing that my efforts were contributing to a great cause gave me extra strength to persevere. The research that ‘BIG against breast cancer’ raises funds for saves lives. is for (…) all the people affected by breast cancer that I do this,” she declared, quoted in a press release from the Breast International Group association.

The marathon runner crossed the finish line around noon, four hours after the start.

“It’s the culmination and crowning achievement of an unprecedented sporting year. Driven by ambition and a rock-solid commitment to a big goal, the part-time mother of four pushed back her physical and mental limits, day after day”, underlined the Breast International Group (BIG), dedicated to breast cancer research.
