the beautiful evening of Khéphren Thuram, author of his first two goals with Juventus

This Sunday, Khéphren Thuram scored a double with Juventus Turin during the match against Fiorentina. These are his first two goals since he signed for the Italian club during the last summer transfer window.

He is certainly less prolific than his big brother Marcus but Khéphren Thuram opened his account in an official match in Italy this Sunday. The Juventus midfielder even scored twice on the 18th day of Serie A against Fiorentina.

In the 20th minute of play, he took advantage of the spaces left by the Fiorentina defense to interfere in the opposing area before perfectly deceiving David De Gea who was guarding the Florentine cages. Just after the locker room, while another former Ligue 1 player had equalized for Fiorentina with Moïse Kean's goal, Khéphren Thuram did it again with a goal worthy of a top striker.

The first double of his career

With his first two goals for the Old Lady, Khéphren Thuram quite simply signs the very first double of his career. In , the French international midfielder scored nine goals in 167 matches in all competitions. On the other hand, in the 21 matches played with Juve, Khéphren Thuram remained silent in front of the cages despite his three assists.

The former Nice player is still far from the standards of his big brother, Marcus, who is the co-top scorer in Serie A with his twelve goals. Last summer, Khéphren Thuram joined Juventus Turin for a check for around 20 million euros from OGC Nice. With 21 matches played since the start of the season, he is an important element of Thiago Motta's team. With this double, Thuram was unable to avoid his team's draw against Fiorentina who equalized in the last moments (2-2). Juve misses the opportunity to overtake their evening opponent in the standings and remains fifth, nine points behind the two leaders, Naples and Atalanta.
