The 13th day of Tunisian Ligue 1 reshuffled the ranking, with US Monastirienne taking the lead thanks to a narrow but precious victory against Stade Tunisien (1-0). This victory, obtained thanks to a goal from Hazem Mastouri in the 38th minute, allows the Monastirians to dethrone the ST and take control of the championship.
This goal is all the more important as it allows Hazem Mastouri to join Youssef Snana (Espérance Sportive de Zarzis) at the top of the ranking of top scorers, with 6 goals each. The fight for the title of top scorer promises to be thrilling for the rest of the season.
The other flagship meeting of the day saw Espérance Sportive de Tunis win with difficulty against Club Sportif Sfaxien (1-0). A goal from Abdramane Konaté in the 86th minute was enough for the Sang et Or to secure the three points and continue their climb in the standings by passing the ESZ.
Balance reigned in Gafsa, where Étoile Sportive du Sahel and EGS Gafsa neutralized each other (1-1). Fedi Ben Choug opened the scoring for the ESS (58th minute), before Amir Omrani equalized for the locals (69th minute). This result does not suit either team.
Finally, ES Métlaoui won a valuable away victory against Olympique de Béja (1-0). Aboubacar Bah scored the only goal of the match in the 54th minute. The end of the match was marked by the expulsion of Mohamed Ali Raggoubi (OB) in the 93rd minute.
