Sky Sports has announced a two-year partnership with TGL, presented by SoFi, the new team league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy through their company TMRW Sports.

This partnership covers the 2025 and 2026 seasons, providing Sky Sports subscribers in the UK, Ireland, DACH and Italy with exclusive coverage of all matches.

The TGL, which begins on January 7 live from the custom-built SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, combines technology and innovation in the world of golf in a new way. The competition features six teams of golf stars in a season-long tournament, ending March 25. Teams will compete in two-hour matches over 15 specially designed holes, blending virtual and real action, allowing fans to appreciate the world’s best players from a new and exciting perspective.

Jason Wessely, Director of Golf at Sky Sports, said: “The TGL is a new, exciting and innovative format that will appeal to traditional golf enthusiasts and newcomers alike. We’re excited to be a part of the TGL journey from the start, bringing fans closer to some of the biggest names in golf. We look forward to working with TGL to deliver a truly entertaining viewing experience and are pleased to welcome TGL to Sky Sports, the home of golf. »

Mike McCarley, CEO of TMRW Sports, commented: “As the dedicated golf media entity in the UK and Ireland, Sky Sports is the ideal choice for TGL to reach fans who are accustomed to turning to Sky to discover the best golfers on Sky Sports platforms across Europe. »

“With five TGL golfers from four teams across the UK and Ireland, golf fans will have local players to follow as well as new teams in this dynamic version of golf, steeped in the traditions of the game.”

TGL coverage will be available to existing Sky Sports subscribers, while non-subscribers can treat themselves to a day or month subscription to NOW Sports.
