For the first time Antony opens up about leaving Manchester United. The Brazilian right winger is tied by a contract with i Red Devils until 30 June 2027, but with only 50 minutes played in the Premier League (overall 322 of the season) the time has come to deal with the future. The arrival of 2025 could bring important news, given the arrival of the new manager, Ruben Amorim, and the start of a new cycle at United which should exclude him completely.
In the interview granted to GIVEMESPORT Junior Pedrosothe agent of Antonyrevealed that he had already received talks and proposals for the winter transfer market: “Yes, many clubs have contacted us about Antony's transfer in January. These clubs wanted to understand Antony's situation, so I can confirm that there is concrete interest”, declared the class 2000 client without mincing words.
But Manchester United's position? “To tell the truth, Manchester United have never expressed interest in selling or loaning Antony to us (entourage, ed.). We have never received such communication until now. The Manchester United management has never told us that they want him to Antony leaves, despite the reports we see around about our client”, hissed Pedroso.
Everything, therefore, will depend on Ruben Amorim's final decisions together with the English club: “I can say that Antony's future is very linked to the interests of Manchester United.
