Five municipalities of the Oise have just been recognized in a state of natural disasterby interministerial decree published in the Official Journal of December 3, 2024.

These are the cities of Senlis, Holder et Nogent-sur-Oiseas well as the villages of Eve and Thiers-sur-Thève.

55 states of natural disasters in the Oise in 2024

This after floods and mudslides occurred between October 9 and 17. “The cumulative precipitation during these events was abnormal over the 10-year reference period,” indicates the Oise prefecture.

In 2024, in Oise, 55 natural disaster states have been recognized for 50 municipalities.

Victims have 30 days from the publication of this decree to make their claim declaration to their insurance companies.

“Through recognition of the state of natural disaster, the State supports municipalities and individuals affected by disasters and allows compensation for damage directly caused to insured property,” adds the Oise prefecture.
