During the night from Sunday to Monday, a fire hit the Joker Burger snack bar in Nice, mobilizing 24 firefighters and causing significant damage.

During the night from Sunday to Monday, around 12:30 a.m., a fire broke out in front of the Joker Burgerlocated at 58 boulevard Paul Montel in Nice. The fire, which started from a two-wheeler parked nearby, spread to the storefront and the sign of the snack bar before the emergency services intervened.
Rapid mobilization of firefighters
Quickly alerted, the firefighters arrived on the scene with five machines and 24 men. Their intervention made it possible to bring the fire under control in a short time, preventing further spread to other neighboring businesses and homes.
Despite their effectiveness, the fire caused significant damage. THE 15 m² of the snack were strongly impacted by the fumes, making the operation of the business impossible for the moment. Two employees thus find themselves in technical unemployment while waiting for the restoration of the premises.
On-site inter-service coordination
In addition to the firefighters, the Police nationale and the Municipal policies were present to secure the perimeter and manage the investigations. The teams ofENEDIS and of GRDF were also mobilized to check the electrical and gas installations, thus guaranteeing the safety of local residents.
