Elected Miss Excellence Normandy 2024 on November 9, Camille Costeya 20-year-old young woman from the town of Thue-et-Mue near Caen (Calvados), will represent Normandy at Miss Excellence France 2025. The final of this beauty contest will take place in Belfort on March 22, 2025.
A journey rooted in its region
Camille Costey grew up in Thue-et-Mue. Today, she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in commerce at the Ipac Bachelor Factory in Caen. Studies that she combines with her role as regional representative in this competition. “I am proud to wear the colors of Normandy,” she confides to Liberté Caen. It's an honor to shine a light on my region and its riches during this national adventure. »
The Miss Excellence adventure: between tradition and values
Created in 2010 by Geneviève de Fontenay, the Miss Excellence France committee is based on values of elegance and proximity. Recently taken over by Christian Lillio, it offers an authentic alternative to other national competitions. Miss Excellence requires the same selection criteria as Miss France, except for the height of the candidates, the minimum of which is set at 1.68m, compared to 1.70m for Miss France.
A memorable experience during Miss Excellence Normandie
Looking back on her regional election, Camille shares enthusiastically: “It was an extraordinary experience. I discovered an atmosphere of solidarity between the candidates. It taught me to surpass myself and gain confidence in myself. » She wants to go far in this Miss Excellence adventure and try the Miss France competition in which she has dreamed of participating for years.
