The Auray Cycling association, organizer of the Auray Cycling Grand Prix – Souvenir Daniel Le Breton, brought together officials and volunteers on Friday, November 22, for its general meeting. A meeting smoothly led by the president, Marie-Jo Le Breton.
A tribute to speaker Christian Josso
It only took around twenty minutes to take stock of the 2024 edition and discuss the projects for 2025. The president then paid tribute to Christian Josso, speaker of the Grand Prix and friend of the association since the beginning , died last February. She then returned to the 35th edition of the Grand Prix. “This year, the whole evening took place in pouring rain. Hence a lack of runners, men and especially women, and of course a lack of spectators,” she noted. And continued: “We welcomed new partners. I thank them, like the City of Auray, the technical services and the volunteers. Without them, all this would not be possible.”
The unchanged circuit
The appointment is made on Thursday June 12, 2025 for the 36th Grand Prix. There will be no change to the circuit. More than sixty volunteers will ensure the smooth running of the women's and men's events.
