Reduced to 14, the USAP cannot compete with Toulouse

The USAP had a small hope of striking deprived of all its internationals but the USAP was also very reduced and couldn't compete. The Catalans were also reduced to 14 in the 25th minute following a red card given to prop Akato Fakatika. In the first act, the USAP nevertheless gave the Toulouse residents a hard time.

Once again, USAP missed its start and conceded two tries in three minutes following errors (12 to 3). A bad start which may leave some slight regrets because throughout the rest of this half, USAP dominated in the scrum and played in the Toulouse camp without managing to achieve. The (new) long video sessions did not benefit the USAP.

In the second half, with numerical superiority, Toulouse widened the gap and flew towards an improved victory by adding four tries.

In the bad news section**, USAP returns from Toulouse with a new serious injury.** The third row Alan Brazo, injured in the knees, left in the first half, “the first news does not seem good”, said manager Franck Azéma after the match.

The only good news of the day is the first in Top 14 of young opener Gabin Kretchmann. Returning at the end of the first half, the young Catalan made his professional debut and was able to break free into the game and achieved an encouraging first. He scored a forty-five meter penalty which brought the score to 12 – 09 before halftime.
