Star Citizen goes to 3.24.3 and can be tested for free from November 22 to December 5

Here we are at the end of November, here comes the anniversary sales of Star Citizen, the multiplayer cousin of the single-player game Squadron 42. These two games are developed by Cloud Imperium Games, a studio with around 1000 developers headed by Chris Roberts. A month ago, during the CitizenCon 2954Squadron 42 presented an hour of gameplay, but it was obviously the announcements concerning the future of the multiplayer game which were the most numerous, with even the vision of what version 1.0 of the game would be, which now benefits from a milestone dedicated on the official roadmap of the game (the famous roadmap).

While 4.0 is already testable on the test environment, which will bring the new Pyro solar system, 3.24.3 has just gone LIVE. This version brings new ships, some of which were presented at CitizenCon, but above all, it opens for free the doors of Star Citizen to anyone who has created an account on the game's official website (Click here to create a Star Citizen account).

This period of FREE FLY will last for November 22 to December 5 and is associated with an in-game event, theIntergalactic Aerospace Expo during which, every day, players can go to New Babbage, on the planet microTech, to discover the ships of the builder(s) of the day. From November 22 to 23, it is Crusader Industries and Tumbril which are in the spotlight, knowing that CI is presenting this year the Intrepid, a newcomer which is added to the list of ships associated with a starter packthese packs include the cost of the Star Citizen game as well as a ship that can be operated alone to begin your galactic adventure. This ranges from €50 for the little Aurora to more than double with the Nomad for example, priced at €106. You can view the list of starter packs for Star Citizen at this page of the game store.

Anniversary sales are systematically synonymous with more or less attractive promotions on these packs, obviously to encourage newcomers to get started. We also remind you that apart from the starter pack which is necessarily essential to acquire the game, all the ships can then be purchased with the in-game currency. If you wish to buy ships with real money, it is therefore only for the purpose of to support the development of Star Citizen.

In any case, this period is crucial for CIG's finances, and will be an opportunity, like every year, for many players to test the host of ships that Star Citizen offers, and to decide whether, yes or not, purchasing a starter pack is of any interest!
