In other words, she doesn’t follow football but she’s hitting everyone in France. »
During the final match of the group stage of Group D between France and Poland, all attention is focused on the twenty employees at the headquarters of the application, located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. “We have nearly 365,000 users connected to the application, and this number could reach 600,000 if France scores a goal,” confides Gregory Rota, co-founder of the site.
Every day, nearly 300 messages arrive in the community managers’ inboxes, and some are worth the detour. “A fire station was complaining because there were 30 men and one woman in their league… and I’ll let you guess who was in front,” smiles Julien Bruno. “Since she doesn’t know anything about football, they asked for her account to be deleted. People are so addicted to this game that they’ll do anything.”
